Sound Design and the Sequential REV2 with Justin Poon

Join U of T and MT&DM alum Justin Poon for a workshop that focuses on applying synthesis skills and concepts towards musical sound design, using the Sequential REV2, a subtractive synthesizer. Beyond applying basic concepts in creating your own patches and developing a strong command of an instrument's full capability, the idea of being able to apply them to any other electronic instrument is a key takeaway, being that the REV2 is only one among many other synthesizers of similar design, such as the Moog One that resides in the EMS, or any of the hundreds (or thousands) of hardware synths on the market.
