UTEMS Workshop Series: Feedback, Entropy, and Time as an Orchestra

Composer and Electronic Performer Michele Selvaggi presents "Feedback, Entropy, and Time as an Orchestra", a workshop in which the often-overlooked, exciting intersection between science and music is explored in close detail. Bringing to Toronto a few works developed while researching in Switzerland, Michele will showcase how feedback can be both a useful electronic tool and a seemingly-life-like force behind the most chaotic of your sonic dreams. Tying together their past in chemistry, and deep love for sound itself, Michele hopes to invite musicians from all walks of life to join them for an open workshop featuring a short performance on feedback sheets.
