A fantastic weekend for University of Toronto Faculty of Music grads at the Juno Awards!

Album of the Year Awards

Congratulations to Sammy Jackson on winning the Vocal Jazz Album of the Year award for With You. And congratulations to Ensemble Made In Canada - with grads Dr. Angela Park, Elissa Lee, and Rachel Mercer - on winning the Classical Album of the Year: Solo or Chamber award for Mosaïque. The recording features the compositions of many music grads.

In the fall of 2020, Sammy Jackson spoke with current student Sami Anguaya about the birth of With You, her creative process, and the spirit of collaboration behind the album. Check out the interview with Sammy Jackson in Moments & Outcomes.
