Saxophone graduate, David Zucchi, appointed Head of Saxophone at Royal Birmingham Conservatoire

On April 13, 2026, Faculty of Music alumnus, David Zucchi (BMusPerf 2014) joined the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire as Head of Saxophone. 

 

While attending the University of Toronto Faculty of Music, David studied saxophone with Assistant Professor Wallace Halladay and composition with Alexander Rapoport. David was awarded one of the Faculty's top prizes, the William and Phyllis Waters Graduating Award, upon graduation.
