Fall Campus Day
This is an annual open house intended to acquaint prospective undergraduate students with what U of T Music offers.
Sunday November 3, 2024
Fall Campus Day at U of T St. George is your best opportunity to explore our campus and see for yourself why U of T is a global leader in higher education. This is a campus-wide event and the Faculty of Music has a full day of activities to help you get acquainted with our community!
Tour our facilities, chat with students and professors, attend information sessions, and learn about our programs and courses. University staff will be available to answer any questions you may have. We can’t wait to meet you!
All of the Faculty of Music information sessions, clinics, master classes, workshops and tours take place at, or leave from The Faculty of Music, Edward Johnson Building (EJB), 80 Queen’s Park, Toronto
Schedule of Music Activities for Fall Campus Day
Activities will run throughout the day between 10am-4pm. Please plan to arrive at least 15 minutes before your first session for the day to sign-in.
When you arrive at the Faculty of Music Edward Johnson Building, please visit the Welcome Table in the main lobby to check-in for the event and receive a nametag and schedule for the day's activities.
Master classes are a great opportunity to perform for and receive feedback from experienced professionals! Our professors are offering master classes and workshops in the following areas:
- Jazz Improvisation Clinic, with Prof. Jim Lewis
- Piano Master Class, with Prof. Lydia Wong
- Voice Master Class, with Prof. Monica Whicher
- Strings Master Class, with Travis Harrison
- Woodwinds Demonstration and Master Class, with Prof. Eric Hall
- Brass Workshop, with Prof. Anita McAlister
All are welcome to observe. If you are interested in performing in the master class, please complete this form to request to participate.
Join us to learn all the ins and outs of how to apply to the Faculty of Music, tips for preparing for the audition and learn about the career possibilities after graduation! These sessions are helpful for prospective applicants and their families.

Student-led tours typically take about 45 minutes and are on a first-come first-served basis. See the facilities while hearing from one of our current students about the U of T Music community!

Morning tours run every 30 minutes from 10am-12pm | Afternoon tours run every 15 minutes from 2:45-3:30pm
Jazz Faculty of Music Tours
11:40am | 2:40pm

Music Library
10am - 4pm
Drop-in to see our Music Library which houses the largest research music collection in Canada! Library staff will be on hand to answer any questions.
Electronic Music Studio (EMS)
10am - 1pm
Drop in to the EMS where the recording action happens! Students will be on hand to answer any questions.
