Official admissions decisions from University Admissions & Outreach will be available on the JOIN U of T Portal for all applicants once their academic assessment has been deemed complete. We encourage all applicants to ensure they have submitted any requested documents on the Join U of T portal to expedite the release of their official decisions from University of Toronto Admissions & Outreach.

Scholarships

Admission Scholarships

The Faculty of Music awards Entrance Scholarships based on academic achievements and musical abilities assessed during auditions. All applicants are automatically considered for these scholarships.

UTAPS Need Navigator

Several awards are specifically set aside for Ontario residents who can show financial need. If you reside in Ontario, it is highly recommended that you complete the University of Toronto Advanced Planning for Students (UTAPS) Need Navigator online to check if you qualify for these awards. Remember to submit the UTAPS form online before February 28th.

Awards Profile

The University of Toronto also offers awards on the basis of financial need, academic merit, demonstrated leadership and other specific criteria. To apply, submit the Awards Profile through the JOIN U of T Portal.

Housing and residence

If you are considering staying in residence, you must express your interest by completing the application on the StarRez Portal by March 31. This means that you may need to submit the application before you have received your audition results. Missing this deadline will disqualify interested students from the residence guarantee.
