Paul Griffiths
Lecture: “Contemporary Music: A Plurality of Worlds?”
Paul Griffiths was born in Wales in 1947 and worked for thirty years as a music critic in London and New York. Besides several books on music, he has written librettos (notably for Elliott Carter’s What Next? ) and novels. His most recent publications include collections of stories based on Noh plays, in English ( The Tilted Cup ) and French ( Pavillon lunaire ).
