JOHN R STRATTON VISITORS IN MUSIC: CELEBRATING MARY AT 100! Join us for a week of celebrations marking Mary Morrison’s 100th birthday and honouring her enduring legacy. We are delighted to welcome multi award-winning soprano and conductor Barbara Hannigan O.C. and renowned soprano Tracy Dahl, both former students of Mary Morrison O.C., for public masterclasses with Faculty of Music singers and collaborative pianists. The week begins with a special opening event featuring a performance by international soprano Measha Brueggergosman-Lee in honour of her former teacher and concludes with a Thursday at Noon concert celebrating Mary Morrison’s lasting impact on generations of artists and contemporary art song repertoire. Tuesday's masterclass and the Thursdays at Noon Concert will be livestreamed on the Faculty of Music YouTube channel.
