Mozart's The Marriage of Figaro
U of T Opera
The Marriage of Figaro, one of the most beloved operas in the entire repertory, remains the benchmark against which all other comic operas are measured. In 1946, Mozart’s masterpiece was the first complete opera presented at the University of Toronto. We are excited to present this new period production sung in Italian, designed by Fred Perruzza with costumes by Lisa Magill. Michael Patrick Albano directs and Sandra Horst conducts.
