Biography
The word Performance both in my title and the name of my office is a bit of a misnomer – the Performance Office is a great resource for all Faculty of Music students whatever their program stream or level. We oversee Applied teacher assignments, ensemble placements, ensemble rehearsal and performance schedules, recital schedules and recital programme creation, jury scheduling and our large library of instruments both for performance and music education.
The Performance Office can arrange anything from a piano being unlocked to a Celeste materializing in the orchestra pit. We can supply a missing mouthpiece or reed gouger or unearth a drum kit or make a bass saxophone appear.
More than this, we are a great ear and referral centre for anyone with questions, concerns, injuries or anguish.
