Kristen Whittle

Biography

Kristen Whittle is an PhD student in musicology with a collaborative specialization in Book History and Print Culture. Kristen’s current research interests include intersections between music, literature, and the press in the nineteenth century, as well as domestic music making. She holds an MA degree in musicology from the University of Toronto (2025) and a B.Mus in history and theory from Wilfrid Laurier University (2023). Kristen’s studies are supported by an Ontario Graduate Scholarship.
