Biography

As Registrar, since 2003, Nalayini Balasubramaniam manages the day to day administrative operations of the Undergraduate Student Services. When Nalayini is not counseling or advising students, she oversees all aspects of undergraduate registrarial services, which includes course administration, convocation, examinations, marks, administration of scholarships, bursaries and financial aid. Nalayini also advises both students and faculty on University policies and academic regulations.

Nalayini was a joint recipient of a University of Toronto Excellence Through Innovation Award in 2010 for her work involving the creation of the Faculty of Music’s Student Ambassador Team. A graduate of the University of Toronto’s Bachelor of Science program, Nalayini has held former positions in the Faculty of Forestry and at the Faculty of Music.

Nalayini enjoys working in the closely knit community that exists within the Faculty, and guiding students through their university experience!
