The Master of Music in Collaborative Piano is a two-year, course-intensive degree in collaborative piano performance. Students study music history, music theory, and piano repertoire while refining their musical skills through personalized studio lessons and courses in collaborative piano techniques.

Core Courses

The program’s core consists of collaborative piano techniques courses and individual piano instruction in preparation for two recitals candidates must perform during their program. Students also study critical approaches to music history, music analysis, and historical performance. 

Electives

The Music Faculty provides an approved list of electives from which students choose the equivalent of one full-year course.
