Future Sound 6 Showcase

Year one of the expanded Future Sound 6 (FS6) program wrapped on June 8th in Walter Hall with a concert celebrating the creativity and achievements of youth participants. FS6, a free community music program for BIPOC/racialized young women, trans, and gender-expansive youth from low-income communities in the GTA is led by the FoM’s EDI Office in partnership with the YWCA Girls’ Centre in Scarborough. Attended by in-person and virtual audiences, the event showcased audio-visual presentations and live performances, and was followed by a celebratory reception for the more than 80 in-person attendees.
