Navigating Spaces of Academic Dialogues: Student Workshop

This fall, Reshma Dhrodia, Director of Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion, and Dr. Ely Lyonblum, Strategic Research Development Officer, led the first of a series of student workshops in civil discourse. A core tenet of higher education is the freedom to express and challenge views informed by research across disciplines, and often reveal areas of divergent social and politics viewpoints. This series focuses on skills training for academic dialogue, and the expectations of scholars to engage and collaborate across difference as a way to better understand their peers and their field of research.
