In his demonstration at Sounds of Science, Professor Lee Bartel reveals how brain waves can be stimulated with rhythmic sound and how abnormal brain rhytms can be normalized with music. Using examples from research, Professor Bartel illustrates how medical conditions like fibromyalgia, depression, and Alzheimer's may respond to brain re-regulation with music, and shows dramatic results from recent Alzheimer's research.
